We have temporarily paused our guest access to the La Jolla Sports Club, located one block from the hotel.  Please inquire at our Reception Desk for additional information or to arrange for private personal training sessions.

HOUSEKEEPING

LAUNDRY AND DRY-CLEANING VALET SERVICE
The Grande Colonial offers same-day service of laundry and dry-cleaning for articles picked up prior to 8:00 A.M., seven days a week, excluding national holidays. Items returned by 7:00 P.M. Please call the Reception Desk for pick up.

Valet parking is available 24 hours daily, with full in-and-out privileges. Please allow 10-15 minutes for vehicle retrieval. The Grande Colonial is not responsible for any damage to vehicles or loss of personal effects in vehicles while in care and custody of the valet staff.

POOL
Our outdoor swimming pool is heated year-round. Pool hours are 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. For our guests with disabilities, a swimming pool lift is available. Should you require additional towels or to request access to the swimming pool lift, please contact our Reception Desk.

Just as we are committed to preserving the rich heritage of the Grande Colonial, we are also committed to preserving our local and global environment. SAFE DEPOSIT BOX
DO NOT LEAVE MONEY OR VALUABLES IN YOUR ROOM. We provide safe deposit boxes for your use at our Reception Desk at no charge. Under State Law, the hotel is not responsible for loss and has a limited liability for articles that have been secured in these boxes. The in-room safe is provided as an amenity for your convenience and security. It does NOT replace the safe required pursuant to State Law limiting the liability for loss of valuables and does not modify in any way the hotel’s liability under the Limit of Liability State Law.

SECURITY AND SAFETY
Your safety and the security of your personal property are of the utmost concern to our entire staff. Please use the double-lock feature on your guest room door whenever you are in your room. It is the policy of the hotel to make a once daily inspection of each guest room. A “Do Not Disturb” sign will preclude access by our staff, except in our daily inspection and emergency situations. Every effort will be taken to notify the guest before entering the guest room.
