Daisy Carrillo joined the Grande Colonial hotel in May 2021 and now serves as our Director of Sales, leading all sales and catering efforts for the historic La Jolla property. With a strong background in hospitality sales and event management, Daisy brings a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to every client interaction.
A Los Angeles native, Daisy began her career as a Sales & Marketing Assistant for a regional restaurant group before advancing to Regional Catering Sales Manager. She later relocated to San Diego to continue building her career, holding catering sales roles at boutique and full-service hotels in Old Town and Mission Valley. Throughout her career, Daisy has developed a passion for planning and executing events of all kinds, from weddings and milestone celebrations to board meetings, retreats, and customized corporate gatherings.
Daisy is passionate about family, travel, and exploring the vibrant food scenes of San Diego and Baja California. She’s a proud mom to her daughter and a beagle who keep life fun and full of adventure.
She looks forward to creating truly memorable events through her precision to detail, flawless execution, and ensuring every guest who comes across the Grande Colonial feels like a true VIP.
