The Grande Colonial is committed to safeguarding your privacy while visiting the hotel website, namely,, (hereinafter all identified URLs are collectively referred to as the “Site”). To enable features at the Site, The Grande Colonial may assign one or more “cookies” to your Internet browser. Cookies, among other things, speed navigation through our Site, keep track of information so that you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit our Site, and may provide you with customized content. A cookie is an Internet mechanism composed of a small text file containing a unique identification number that permits a web server to send small pieces of information or text by means of your browser and place them on your computer’s hard drive for storage. This text lets the web server know if you have previously visited the web page. Cookies by themselves cannot be used to find out the identity of any user.

We use cookies and/or analytics to collect and maintain aggregated data (such as the number of visitors) to help us see which areas are most popular with our users and improve and update the content on our site. While in the process of browsing our site, you also provide us with information that doesn’t reveal your personal identity. We use this aggregated data only as explained in this Privacy Policy. We do not connect aggregated data to any name, IP address, or other identifying information.  To see more information about our Cookie tracking, please click here.

We also utilize Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, to better understand your use of our website. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the website, what pages they visit and what other sites they used prior to visiting. Google uses the data collected to track and examine the use of the website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the data collected on the website to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Websites is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. Google offers an opt-out mechanism for the web available here.

You may occasionally receive cookies from unaffiliated companies or organizations, to the extent they place advertising on our Site or are linked to the Site. These third-party cookies may collect information about you when you “click” on their advertising or content or link. This practice is standard in the Internet industry. Because of the way in which the Internet operates, we cannot control collection of this information by these third parties, and these cookies are not subject to this Privacy Policy.

For your convenience, we have included outbound hyperlinks on our website that link to other websites (the “Linked Sites”). We are not responsible for, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to, the privacy practices of any Linked Sites or of any companies that we do not own or control. Linked Sites may collect information in addition to that which we collect on our website. We encourage you to seek out and read the privacy policy of each Linked Site that you visit to understand how the information that is collected about you is used and protected.

If you decide to make an online reservation at the Site to our NINE-TEN Restaurant, you will be linked to a reservation interface called OpenTable. We understand that security remains the primary concern of online consumers and have chosen OpenTable carefully. OpenTable, Inc., along with its subsidiaries or affiliated companies (“OpenTable”), is committed to safeguarding your privacy and upholding the highest levels of information security. To that end, the company adheres to the strictest consumer privacy guidelines and uses state-of-the-art security technology to protect any information you provide to and through OpenTable.  OpenTable’s privacy policy can be viewed here.

Use of the Site signifies your consent, as well as the consent of the company for whom you use the Site and whose information you submit (if any), to this on-line Privacy Policy, including the collection and use of information by The Grande Colonial, as described in this statement, and also signifies agreement to the terms of use for the Site. Continued access and use of the Site without acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy relieves The Grande Colonial from responsibility to the user.

The Grande Colonial reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time; notice of changes will be published on this page. Changes will always be prospective, not retroactive. If you have questions about our policies, please contact us.

You have the right to receive information from The Grande Colonial about the personal data we have collected and are storing on you, as well as the use of that data, as outlined in this privacy policy.  You also have the right to request from The Grande Colonial that we stop using your personal data and to update, or delete this data from our systems.

Any and all requests relating to your personal data should be directed to our Data Protection Officer at or call 858.263.7966.

Please note that we may still use any aggregated and de-identified personal information that does not identify any individual, and may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
