Josephina Arellano joined the Grande Colonial’s sales and catering team in November 2024. A native of Visalia, California, she began her hospitality journey as a Front Desk Agent in Downtown San Diego before advancing to the role of Sales Administrative Assistant at the Grande Colonial. While growing in her career, she is also pursuing a degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management with a minor in Accounting at San Diego State University.

A proud United States Marine, Josephina brings the dedication, discipline, and strong sense of service instilled through her military experience to everything she does. At the Grande Colonial, she plays a vital role supporting the sales and catering team, coordinating group room blocks, preparing contracts and event details, and managing billing with precision and care. Her warm demeanor and attention to detail contribute to flawless events and unforgettable guest experiences.

Outside of the hotel, Josephina enjoys exploring San Diego’s scenic trails, trying new vegan restaurants with friends, and giving back to the community through volunteer work. She is passionate about hospitality and looks forward to continuing her journey of creating exceptional experiences for every guest at the Grande Colonial.
